Apex Legends

Amps are a brand new aspect of Apex Legends from Season 26 onwards.
A brand new item is coming to Apex Season 26, called Amps. These are exciting lootable passives, that can boost your mid to late game power no matter what Legend you are playing.

These will add an extra layer to each Legend, providing an extra level of customisability on top of the already existing Legend Upgrades.
Alongside this, Apex is also introducing a brand new system for Hop Ups as well in Season 26.

What are Amps in Apex Legends?
Amps are items that you may loot from around the map during a game of Apex Legends in Season 26. Once collected, they provide you with an additional passive ability in addition to your Legends kit. These are avaliable in both Ranked and Unranked modes.
They will be rarer at the start of the game, with the vast majority of Amps only appearing after the mid-game Loot Bin reset. That means their power will be focused towards the later part of the game, which is important to bear in mind.

What Amps are in the game?
We don’t know how many Amps there will be, but Respawn shared the first five with esports.gg ahead of the update. There might be more in the game, or more could be added in future. But, here are all the Amps we know about that will be in Season 26:
Overflow Healer Amp
Over Armor Amp
These are quite powerful abilities and will have a big impact on matches this season. You can only use one at a time, so there will be a lot of choices to make throughout a match.
Carnival Queen Loba skin takes fan service to a whole new level
Loba’s Carnival Queen skin is turning heads ahead of Apex Legends Season 26. Inspired by her Brazilian roots, the Legendary skin is her most daring yet, and fans are already simping hard.

Hop Ups also getting a change
Now, all these new Amps could make the Apex loot pool feel a bit crowded. However, an adjustment to Hop Ups inSeason 26will make some room for them.
Now, Hop Ups will be locked to weapons. They’ll start inactive, and become active when you deal a certain amount of damage. This means more Hop Ups can be in the game at once, including the re-added Graffiti Hop Up that we previously saw on Rampart Big Maude weapons. This unlock will be tied to each weapon, so you’ll start again if you respawn or can skip the level up if you loot an already used weapon from a death box.
