Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the next installment in the storied role-playing game (RPG) franchise, and the floodgates for the game have been opened. After being delayed to March 20, Ubisoft has still allowed previews for Shadows to go up, and pre-orders are now live. With the pre-orders open, we also have details on all the various editions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows you can purchase.
As is the case with any Ubisoft game, you know there are going to be a few different editions available for Shadows. While the cost of the editions is always a point of debate, there’s no denying the content you receive in the higher-tier editions is worth it to players who plan on grinding for months to come. Assassin’s Creed Shadows follows a similar route to previous installments in the franchise with its editions and pre-order bonuses.

All Assassin’s Creed Shadows editions
Three editions have been announced forAssassin’s Creed Shadows, all with different price points and content. There’s the Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition. You can pre-order the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions right now by visiting your system’s marketplace or Ubisoft’s website.
However, the Collector’s Edition is only available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. You’ll only be able to find the Collector’s Edition atGameStop, and you can pre-order it now online or in participating retail stores.

Obviously, it’s up to you to decide what edition best suits your needs. If you’re a diehard Assassin’s Creed fan, the Collector’s Edition does offer a solid amount of physical content. However, most players will be fine with either the Standard or Digital Deluxe Editions.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows pre-order bonuses
In addition to the various editions, you may earn more rewards in Shadows if you pre-order any of the editions. Pre-order bonuses apply to all editions, so you can pre-order the Standard Edition and get the same bonuses as a player who pre-orders the Digital Deluxe Edition.
