Batwomanis a pioneering show in many respects, however, some fans were disappointed by the lack of an intimate lesbian love story in the second season. Dries addresses this issue stating that the production of the show had to hold back a majority of intimacy between actresses due to protocols surrounding the pandemic. She also teases a more in-depth love story in the third season but does not clarify between who. There is no telling what the instantly iconic Ryan will face in the third season with so many imminent threats.
