While it’s understandable that guilt or sympathy might play a role in the contestants crying as their fellow players leave the house, the over-the-top hysterics that some of them have displayed feel very fake and are actually shocking because they’re so theatrical.
If Ava andJimmy felt that terribly about voting out Adrian, then perhaps they should’ve kept him in the game instead of voting with the house. They have to realize that it’s a game, and, even though Adrian was a nice person who needed the money, if they thought that voting him out was best for their game, thenthere’s nothing to feel guilty about. That’s simply the nature ofBig Brother.
InBig Brother 27week 2, when even Rachel was swayed into voting with the house to eliminate her closest ally, Amy Bingham, she cried too, but she hid it well. She only became emotional in front of Morgan, and asked her not to tell anyone that she was so upset. This was in great contrast withZach, who openly wept when Zae Frederich was evicted in week 1.
