It ’s been a big week for Marvel ’s Guardians of the Galaxy , and the newsworthiness just keeps rolling in . While list his influences for this colourful space movie , director James Gunn let on that he had take fabled artist to contrive some starship for GOTG . Which , wow .
Over on his Instagram , Gunn play up one of the many influences that went into making this world . And just nonchalantly mentioned that they hired CHRIS FOSS to plan spaceships ! Yes , the staggeringly influential cover creative person and construct artist , who work on Jodorowsky ’s Dune and went on to knead on Ridley Scott ’s Alien . See the post below :

The icon at the top of this post is from previously released GOTG construct fine art , we do n’t have the specific creative person to created these images , but the law of similarity are there ( if you look at the original Foss work in the Instagram ) . Just gorgeous . Gunn also brought up the Foss connection during the facebook Q&A with the casting yesterday :
“ Charlie Wood , our production clothes designer , was one of my primary partners on this photographic film . We set about with long farsighted discussions , lots of exposure , and my love of the creative person Chris Foss – who we really hired to work on the movie . He ’s a classic science fabrication artist from the 70 and 80s . ”
Welp , we did n’t retrieve it was possible to get even MORE aroused about this film . And yet ..
