With the Stockholm Major getting ever closer, PGL has finally announced their talent lineup. And the first major in 2 years has gotten one of the most star-studded lineups in history.
The PGL Stockholm Major has been one of the most highly anticipated tournaments in CS:GO’s history. The event will mark the return to the Majors after 2 years. And PGL has done it justice with one of the most star-studded lineups of talent any Major has seen.
The event, which kicks off in just 22 days, will see teams competing to make history and win the most coveted trophy in CS: GO. And history seems to be the theme for PGL’s talent selection as almost all of the classic great talents have been invited to the event. Headlining the announcement is the return of many greats who had been absent from the game for a while.
The event will mark the return of DDK who’ll be pairing back up with his long-time casting partner James Bardolph and making his return to CS after over a year of casting in Valorant. This will also be the first major ever for analysts Maniac and Bleh.

Compared to previous Major lineups which usually had someone missing, this major has managed to secure all the legendary talents to come together for CS' biggest Major so far. Of note is the absence of modern-day casting duos like Harry-Hugo and Scrawny-Launder. In the eyes of many, they have accrued the body of work to show that they are tier 1 duos, and fans will hope they get their shot at the next majors.
Nevertheless, this lineup is absolutely stacked and all that remains is to see what teams will qualify for the Major. With upsets galore at IEM Fall EU, who knows if the best teams will make it through. One thing is for certain, the major will be the biggest celebration of CSGO in history and in front of alive audienceno less.
