However, even with Kick’s offer and more favorable revenue split, the Doc says it’s “just not enough.”

The Doc would rather stay on YouTube

Many of the world’s biggest content creators made moves to Kick shortly after the platform’s launch. Streamers such as Trainwrecks, Adin Ross, Tfue, Nickmercs, and xQc are just some of the names that took part in themass migration to Kick. Of those, only a select few were even offered deals as incentives.

The majority made the transition simply due to Kick’s allowance of Gambling, and the more favorable revenue split with creators compared to Twitch. The latter, combined with negative sentiment towards business decisions by Twitch at the time, led plenty of small streamers to follow suit as well.

Dr Disrespect’s reasoning for turning down Kick

Regardless of Kick’s main upsides and $10 million offer, Dr Disrespect remains completely uninterested in the platform. During a recentstream, he said he appreciates the offer “but the number’s $50 million. I’m not budgin' from that one.”

He then re-emphasizes that anything less than $50 million is not enough to take him away from YouTube at the moment. Dr Disrespect refers to his thriving community and great viewership as reasons not to move to Kick from YouTube.

“The community’s too strong here,” he says, showing that his stream would be the 7th largest on Twitch with the YouTube viewership during his intro alone. Dr Disrespect also points to his future “billion-dollar gaming studio” and the upcoming third batch of his Black Steel Bourbon as to why he’s in “no rush” to accept Kick’s money.
