The LPL announced the end of the English channel for 2025. Now, many fans are looking for solutions to keep following the Chinese league.
In 2024, the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) announced some bittersweet news to English speakers. There will not be an official English broadcast of the league this year. As one of the major leagues, this announcement was a disappointment for many fans who were looking forward to watching their favorite teams and players.
Not all hope is lost, however. Even though we don’t have an official LPL English broadcast, the LPL will be fully co-streamed internationally. It’s a new model Riot Games and the LPL are testing this year, and it might become a permanent fixture moving forward.

For some fans, the LPL English broadcast didn’t meet expectations. Meanwhile others, argue that viewers shouldn’t be forced to follow specific streamers to watch their favorite leagues. “I respect people if they prefer co-streaming as their way of watching esports, but good god I do not like it,” one user wrote onReddit.
