Esports World Cup Overwatch 2 schedule
The Overwatch 2 matches are happening between July 24 and July 28. At stake is a $1,000,000 USD prize pool. There is also an extra $50,000 USD for the MVP of the tournament.
Overwatch 2 Esports World Cup format
The tournament has four double round-robin groups to start. All of the Overwatch 2 EWC Group Stage matches are first-to-three (Ft3) ones. Three teams from each group can then advance to the Playoffs Stage. Additionally, the top team from each group receives a first round bye. Next, the 2024 EWC Overwatch 2 Playoffs Stage happens under a single-elimination bracket and features first-to-four (Ft4) matches.
