Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtreeadds dozens of new armor sets for players to find with many being based around the new enemies found throughout the DLC. Some of these armor sets will also be identical to a few of the major bosses players will find throughout the Shadow Realm.
One notable boss that players may get caught up on is Commander Gaius, with his armor set being obtainableafter he is defeated. Most of his armor is obtained through one method, with the last piece being obtained in a different method. Here’s how to get every armor piece in Gaius' set.
Where To Get Most of Gaius’s Set In Shadow Of The Erdtree
Gaius’s Set across the board will become available after players defeat him at theback gate to the Shadow Keep. After defeating him, players will need totravel back to the previous map ofElden Ring’sbase game and head to theRoundtable Holdto speak to the Finger Reader Enia. Here players will be able topurchase Gaius’s Helm, Gaius’s Armor, and Gaius’s Gauntlets.
Where To Get Gaius’s Greaves In Shadow Of The Erdtree
Gaius’s Greaves are found at theAlbinauric’s Shack, which is found just northwest of the arena where players fought Gaius. Players will find a wolf-riding enemy outside of the shack that will fight from a distance with a bow, before following up with melee attacks from the wolf. Defeating this enemy will have them dropGaius’s Greaves, aThin Beast Bones, and anAlbinauric Bloodclot.
Gaius’s Armor Set Overview
As one would guess from the appearance,Gaius’s Armor set is very heavy, focusing on tanking large amounts of damagewhile requiring incredibly high endurance to properly dodge with. This armor set focuses on blocking all types of physical damage, with a higher focus on Slash and Pierce damage. This armor set also has excellent Robustness, which is critical toresisting BleedandFrostbite.
