Rockstar bringingGTA 5and GTA Online to PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2021 isn’t a good sign for those expecting to seeGrand Theft Auto 6any time soon. It seems unlikely that Rockstar would bother bringing over the olderGTAto the new consoles if it hadGTA 6waiting in the wings, and so fans shouldn’t expect to see the sequel until 2022 at the earliest. This is unfortunate but somewhat expected, though it’s possible that Rockstar has some other project it plans on releasing before the nextGrand Theft Autogame.

WhileGTA 6has been the most heavily-rumored game when it comes to Rockstar’s next project, it’s not the only title that’s been talked about. There are many who still seem to think that Rockstar will be makingBully 2next, though that may just be wishful thinking. Perhaps the company will make a sequel to one of its other franchises instead, or maybe it will move forward with a brand new IP. Until Rockstar itself shares more information, all fans can do is guess.
