Hearthstone Weekly Quests update

Hearthstone patch 29.4.2 highlights reduced requirements for the game’s Weekly Quests feature. This update keeps the increased XP where it is as well. According to Blizzard, the update to Weekly Questsback in patch 29.2weren’t communicated adequately beforehand. However, the Hearthstone team will improve on their communication moving forward. Below is a comparison of the old and new requirements.

“Over the last few weeks, we’ve been listening to your experiences and looking at our data, and it’s clear that the new Weekly Quests didn’t do their job of rewarding you for your time playing the game,” Hearthstone game director Tyler Bielman statedin the post. “Going forward, we want to strike a much better balance between your time spent in Hearthstone and the rewards given by Weekly Quests.”

Hearthstone patch 29.4.2 notes

In terms of the latest Hearthstone patch note for Standard, they feature nerfs to Showdown, Thirsty Drifter, and Molten Giant. According to Blizzard, these adjustments target three outlier decks that are overpowered in terms of flooding the board in the early game.

Showdown is now less efficient for Paladin’s Zilliax, Sea Giant, and Prismatic Beam synergy. Meanwhile, highlights the strong flooding capabilities at higher ranks. As for Molten Giant, it’s nerf slows Warlock players down a bit so that there’s more room for counters.
