So shiny it hurts
Not including downloadable content, ports, and offbeat racers likeMario Kart, there’s really no major racing games slated for this year from a major publisher or pre-existing brand other thanGRID 2here. That puts Codemasters in a pretty sweet spot for console domination, and the PC version is looking pretty damn solid too based on our recenthands-on time with the game.
Of course, let’s not forgetReal World Racingfor the PC, and there’s a ton of potential from’90s Arcade Raceras well. Not as many major choices compared to past years overall, but at least what’s on deck for 2013 all look damn good.
