Crafting and building items is a crucial part of making progress in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Hard Leather is one of the key items you may craft in the game. You’ll need this for crafting strong armor and weapons. This includes Hard Leather Armor, Bronze Armor, Dark Mage Armor and even one of the best weapons in the game, The Abyssal Whip.
Hard Leather is a little more complicated to get your hands on than more basic items in the game. You can’t just use the basic Tannery to get this item, unlike standard Leather. Instead you’ll need an upgraded Tannery and have some additional items and resources too.

The first and most important step to be able to craft Hard Leather is by upgrading your Tannery. to do this,you’ll need to build the upgraded Tanner’s Kit.The prerequisite to do this is making your first Bronze Bar, which you can do in the furnace.

Now you have your upgraded Tanners Kit, you need to place it next to your Tannery. This increases the number of crafting slots to two, and allows you to craft Hard Leather. Now, you’ll need to make sure you have the materials you need to actually craft Hard Leather in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
