As with all Star Path events inDisney Dreamlight Valley, theA Day at Disneyevent comes with its fair share of riddle-esque duties required to complete to gain event currency. Without this, you can’t get the rewards, so it’s worth figuring out what you’re supposed to be doing.

One of these duties, which tells you to ‘harvest a spicy root’, is confusing to begin with, but like the similar one asking you to harvest a ‘cooling herb’, this one’s pretty easy – all you need to do is gather the requested number of Ginger.

Where to find Ginger inDisney Dreamlight Valley

There’s only one place in the Valley where you can find Ginger, so you’re going to have to head to the Forgotten Lands. Once there, scour the ground for pulsing plants in the ground and when you harvest them, you’ll get yourself some Ginger.

If you’re in a hurry, it’s worth making sure that the rest of the Forgotten Lands items (such as flowers, crops and wood) are cleared out, as well as any Night Thorns in the area. This will ensure the maximum possibility of further Ginger spawning for you to harvest.

Once you’ve got enough Ginger to complete the A Day at Disney duty, you’ll probably be wondering what you’re supposed to do with it. Rather than letting it clutter up your inventory, it can be used to make the following meals:
