Even though I’ve heard of the magic of machine learning enhanced frame generation and graphics, it’s not something I ever bothered with.Avatar: FoPhas full support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 which alongside enabling Frame Generation will enable image upscaling. But is it worth enabling FSR3 inAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora? The short answer is yes.
What does enabling FSR3 do?
I already had pretty solid performance inAvatar: Frontiers of Pandoraand though the game was absolutely beautiful. Once I enabled FSR3, there was a very noticeable increase in graphical fidelity as well as my overall FPS. The lightning and reflections are stellar, and my FPS went from about 90 to 120 or more just by enabling FSR3 and Frame Generation.
There’s really no downside to enabling FSR3, so I would say yes, it’s definitely worth enabling. At the moment it doesn’t look like there’s any support for Nvidia’s DLSS3, which may be a point of contention for some. But in my experience FSR3 and enabling Frame Generation works great and is worth doing regardless of what graphics card you have, as long as it is your graphics card supports it.

How to enable FSR3 inAvatar: FoP
To enable FSR3 inAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you first need to go into the Settings. Once there navigate to the Video tab and scroll down. If you have a graphics card that supports FSR, you will see two settings that you can enable: Temporal Upscaler and Frame Generation.
You want to switch Temporal Upscaler to AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3, and make sure Frame Generation is set to On. Afterward, restart the game so the settings can take effect. That’s it, FSR3 should now be working!
