Who is Mel Medarda?
Mel was one of the Piltover Councilors and the daughter of Noxian warlord Ambessa Medarda. As we see a strong and leading general like Ambessa, Mel is the complete opposite of her mother. She showed us a Medarda more pro-dialogue than pro-war. She was reasonable and weighed.

Mel Medarda is a noble and a Piltover Council member. She is also the daughter to the Noxian warlord Ambessa Medarda.

Further, in the second season, we start to see more of Mel’s powers and the interestThe Black Rosehas in them. As Ambessa started to tighten her grip on the political actions of Pilltover, the noxian organization knew. We see them in the Amara vs Ambessa confrontation in Episode 3 of Act 1. It was later in that episode that we saw Mel being “abducted” by The Black Rose. She ends up “exploding” the black rose magic with a yellow bright magic.

Is Mel a Solari?
First of all: who are the Solari? They are an ancient organization and religious order whose task is to venerate the Aspect of the Sun of Mount Targon. “Accordingly, the Solari stand ready to fight any who would extinguish its holy light”, as we can read from theSolari description.
