Runs concurrent to the main one
While the main plot of the upcomingKill La Kill: IFwill star Kiryuin Satsuki, an additional side story featuring anime protagonist Matoi Ryuko will be playable as well. Upon completing the main story mode, the extra scenario will be unlocked and will show Kiryuin’s story from Matoi’s perspective. It will be an original story separate from the anime, so fans are in for a treat.

If you know anything about the anime, that description should sound jarring. Nui serves as the secondary antagonist in the series, so for Matoi to team up with her can’t be a good thing. If that means Kiryuin gets her time to shine, though, then I’m all for it.
Kill La Kill: IFis scheduled for a July 26 release on PC, PS4, and Switch in North America and Europe. It will be hitting Japanese platforms a day earlier on July 25.
