Forever a champion

The gaming world lost one of its greats last week. Jonas Neubauer, known for extraordinary skill inTetris, passed away on January 4. He was just 39.

Neubauer is the most accomplished classicTetrisplayer in history. During his competitive career, he won seven Classic Tetris World Championships, winning four years in a row from 2010 to 2013 and securing a threepeat from 2015 to 2017. He also set multiple records, including in 2018 when he cleared 100 lines in three minutes and nine seconds. That time now stands as thesecond-fastest in the world.
