League of Legends patch 12.6 will bring about nerfs to many champions as well as adjustments to Rengar.
Just four weeks on from their mid 12.5 patch changes, League of Legends has released its latest 12.6 patch. There is a lot to unpack with this patch, including nerfs to fan-favorite champions, adjustments to Rengar to make him more viable and many changes to items and runes. Here is everything players need to know about LoL patch 12.6.

Nerfs galore as Hecarim and Tryndamere hit the chopping block
Hecarim
Hecarim has been one of the most popular champions in competitive play this season. In the regular season across the four major regions, Hecarim has featured 77 times according togol.gg. Hecarim has become popular because of Turbo Chemtank. The build allows for Hecarim to pack a punch while still playing the role of a tank.
Riot believes the champion is becoming too viable and is receiving some nerfs to bring him back to a fairer state along with the other junglers currently in the meta.

Tryndamere
Like Hecarim, Tryndamere has been one of the strongest champions across all levels of play. Tryndamere features prominently in competitive play and will often take over the game once he reaches a certain point. According to Riot, the reason for Tryndamere’s increase in strength comes from his kit scaling with ability haste.
Therefore, Riot is going to be adjusting his cooldowns in LoL patch 12.6 so he is not as strong as the champion scales with items.

Tryndamere is too strong at the highest levels of play. His kit scales too well with Ability Haste, so we’re adjusting his cooldowns to account for the higher amounts of Ability Haste available to him through items.
