It’s time to get tropical! Hearthstone has just announced a brand-new expansion — Perils in Paradise! The new Hearthstone expansion is Perils in Paradise

The Hearthstone Perils in Paradise expansion features 145 new cards, the Tourist keyword, plus Marin the Manager as a free legendary minion. While card reveals are set to happen before the expansion launches, we already have some information about the new Tourist keyword!

Hearthstone Tourist keyword explained

According to Blizzard, each Hearthstone class gets a legendary Tourist card in the new expansion. This type of card “lets them vacation to another class during deckbuilding.”

“Put your Tourist into your deck and their destination class’s Perils in Paradise cards get instantly added to the deckbuilding interface, letting you put them into your deck like your main class cards—except for the destination class’s Tourist card; just one vacation at a time.”

Free Marin the Manager Perils in Paradise card

To obtain the Marin the Manager legendary minion for free, simply log in to your account now. After patch 30.6, players can also get this card by opening their first Perils in Paradise card pack. Marin the Manager’s treasures include Golden Kobold, Wondrous Wand, Tolin’s Goblet, and Zarog’s Crown.

Hearthstone Perils in Paradise release date

The new Hearthstone expansion is arriving on August 16, 2025. However, interested players can get either the Perils in Paradise Mega Bundle or regular Perils in Paradise Bundle now throughthe Battle.net shop.

“Pre-purchase is only available until the expansion launches on July 23,” Blizzard stated.
