Plus Impire, The Plan, and Brain Age

It looks like it’s going to be a slightly quiet week for new releases, with only two titles really on my radar. Personally, I’m a bit relieved, as I have a ton of catching up to do.

First up, we’ve longAliens: Colonial Marinesbursting out of chests and onto hard drives everywhere. We’ve not had a decentAliengame in a while other than the superbAliens: Infestationfor the DS, but I’m not really sure thatColonial Marinesis going to change that. Still, I’m always happy to slaughter xenomorphs, and hopefully it will be even more fun with a pal.

Other than that, we’ve got Cyanide Studio’sImpire, which, from what I’ve played of it, is a rather wonderful strategy title in the vein ofDungeon Keeper;Brain Agegame drops on the 3DS, testing the mental abilities of the gullible;Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chickencomes to the Vita; The Planhits Mac and PC; and a bunch of games spread to new platforms like very welcome viruses.

Anything tempting you this week?
