The first team to head home from BLAST Rivals Spring will be decided in this matchup!
Day two at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 and we begin with the Group A eliminator. Very few gave Wildcard and paiN a chance in yesterday’s BLAST Rivals Spring openers, and while the pundits were right, paiN came far closer than some expected.

At the same time, getting 13-0’d on LAN sucks, and it’s not at all what you want to be remembered for atBLAST Spring Rivals, so expect a rejuvenated paiN to bring the…pain… to Wildcard in this tightly-contested series.
Almost another 13-0 loss for paiN as dgt debut goes awry
Unfortunately for paiN it was Wildcard dishing out the pain in the group stage eliminator, with Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz’s men eliminating the Brazilian squad 2-0 (13-10, X-X).
paiN was hoping to reverse results from yesterday where theysuffered a 13-0 loss in map three to MOUZ, but it backfired spectacularly as Wildcard put the squad to the sword.

A messy Inferno kicked off affairs with paiN bouncing back after a 0-5 start to climb into the opening map. Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt (17-13, 1.34 HLTV rating) was keeping the squad in the fight as the teams traded rounds, but a shock anti-eco win at 11-10 to Wildcard shattered the comeback attempt.
It was nearly a repeat of yesterday’s decider on Anubis, with Wildcard blasting paiN’s CT hold apart. Love “phzy” Smidebrant was nigh unstoppable, finding entries nearly every T round as Wildcard put on a perfect 12-0 half.

paiN survived the 13-0 with a won pistol, but their elimination was all but assured, ultimately going down and out 13-5
paiN is now out of the tournament, while Wildcard head to the playoffs in the quarterfinals where they’ll take on the loser of Spirit vs. Falcons later today.
