Ready to go gaga for this MOBA?
It’s been roughly a year since The Pokémon Company announcedPokémon Uniteto a mass collective groan. Western fans weren’t having any of it, but that didn’t stop The Pokémon Company, Tencent, and TiMi Studios from plugging away on it. Afterteasingsome news about the title yesterday, we got the big reveal early this morning: aPokémon Uniterelease date. The free-to-play MOBA launches on Nintendo Switch in July and makes the jump over to mobile this September.
Twenty-four Pokémonfrom the series are available at launch and looking at the list, I’ll probably go with Cramorant until a ‘mon I like more is added to the game. If you decide to give this a shot, you won’t have to choose between playing on Switch or playing on your phone. On thePokémon Unitewebsite, it’s confirmed the game will support cross-play and cross-progression if you use your Pokémon Trainer account or your Nintendo account.
