NewJeans is officially coming to Fortnite.
Fortnite Festival has had some of the biggest collaborations, including The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Metallica and more. Now, the popular game mode will be bringing the massive K-pop band, New Jeans, to Fortnite.
This means players will not only be able to play as NewJeans in Fortnite Festival but there is a solid chance the collaboration will leak over into the actual Battle Royale too.
So, when is NewJeans coming to Fortnite? And what do we know about the collaboration so far?
When is NewJeans coming to Fortnite?
Fortnite’s roadmap for its artist collaborations was leaked only a month or two ago. At the time, players had learned about the Billie Eilish collaboration (which already happened), the Karol G collaboration and the Snoop Dogg collaboration.
On top of all that, Fortnite fans also learned that a K-pop group would be coming to the game. At the time, many believed it to be BLACKPINK, but it was quickly confirmed by leakers that BLACKPINK would not be the band to join Fortnite.
Today, June 16, 2025, many leakers have released that the K-pop band coming to Fortnite will be NewJeans. But when?
NewJeans is set to arrive in Fortnite in December of 2024. There is no official release date yet.

Never heard of NewJeans? The popular K-pop groups have quite a plethora of smash hits, including How Sweet, Bubble Gum and more. The band first emerged in 2022 and quickly became a staple within the K-pop community.
Since then, the girls have released various hit singles and have toured the world with millions of fans coming out to see them perform live.
And now, they will be in Fortnite.
