Scheana Shayappears to be on better terms with one of herVanderpump Rulescostars amid the fallout ofScandoval.
DuringBravoCon 2023’s Social Media Butterflies panel on Saturday, the 38-year-old reality star admitted she was hanging out inTom Sandoval’s room after the first day of the fan convention in Las Vegas.
“Last night, there were a lot of us who, after the bar closed, we continued the party in his room,” she said in response to a fan’s question about the hangout. “It’s an after party, I don’t say no to an after party.”
CostarAriana Madixcame to Kent’s defense on stage, telling him, “I don’t think that was Lala, I heard that was someone else.”
“I’m just saying, if the girls are so tight…” Kennedy, 31, countered, as Madix, 38, confirmed it was, in fact, Shay.
“Scheana’s not even up here. I wasn’t hanging out with Tom Sandoval. Stay in your f—ing lane!” Kent told Kennedy, later adding, “I’m not going to let you tell this whole room that I was kicking it in Sandoval’s room last night. The lies, the lies, the lies!”

Shay previously opened up on herScheananiganspodcast about how her friendship with Sandoval, 41, hadchangedin light of hismonths-long affairwith their former castmateRachel “Raquel” Leviss.
“I never thought he was a bad guy,” she shared. “He was one of my best friends for almost 15 years. He was the only person who had my back on this show, who fought for me whenever something was unfair and he was the person there in my corner.”
She continued, “I have personally really struggled with all this because I’m like, ‘Yes, you did a really bad thing. But you weren’t a bad friend to me. But then what you have done has affected me, so it’s just changed the entire dynamic of our group.”

At BravoCon, Shay also addressed where she and the rest of theVPRcast stand with Leviss after the affair became public knowledge in March,endingSandoval’snine-year relationshipwith Madix.
“No one has spoken to her. I don’t think anyone will speak to her,” Shay said during the panel. “But, I wish her the best on her journey but none of us have any contact with her.”

The Bravo star also discussed the possibility of Leviss, 29, returning toVPR, saying, “We were all very open to having her back. Certain people — I don’t want to say who — even reach out to say this is a safe place for you to come back. We’re not trying to come for you.”
“We just think you have some conversations you still need to have,” she continued. “I don’t think where she was at the time would have been good for her to come back full time, but I think there were a couple conversations with myself, Lala,Lisa [Vanderpump]that should have happened and didn’t but I understand why.”
“I do wish her the best but I don’t think any of us will be ever contacting her," Shay added.

Not long after, Levisschecked herself into a facility for “mental health and trauma therapy"in April.
“Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling,” her rep told PEOPLE at the time. “She was scheduled to go in pre-reunionbut decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment. Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health.”
