The Japanese playerKakeruwon the Capcom Cup 11, and his prize is just amazing: the glory and $1,000,000.Blazis a 15-year guy from Chile, and he finished second in this tournament. He defeated mighty opponents, such as Leshar and AngryBird.
All players in the top 8 hae automatically qualified for the Street Figter 6 Esports World Cup 2025. The winner, Kakeru, has qualified for the Capcom Cup 12, which takes place in Tokyo, Japan, once again.
Group stage results: Capcom Cup 11

Groups A and B

Groups C and D
Tokido was seeded into Group C, and this legend is always a threat to his opponents. This competitive season, Tokido wonCPT 2024: Japan Super PremierandBattle Arena Melbourne 14.
Meanwhile, iDom is in Group D. The Capcom Cup 2019 winner has somewhat hard times within Street Fighter 6 — the highest tier-1 placement for iDom was 4th atCEO 2024. Armperor who won theKings of the Worldevent, and other players in this group should give a good fight.
Kakeru finished the Group stage on the first place: with four victories. Tokido was on the verge of elimination, but the guy performed a try Street Fighter miracle on Day 3: with won matches and a positive game difference.
Blaz played the two most classic Street Fighter character to reach the Capcom Cup 11 Playoffs. The player won all five matches, which is super impressive considering the level of opponents here. broski with A.K.I. reached the second place in Group D. He has the same matches score and the games difference as Vxbao, but broski won a direct match on Day 1.
Groups E and F
MenaRDis the favorite in every tournament he participates in, even if things don’t always go his way. MenaRD wonEvo Japan 2024and the offline Premiere tournament Cream City Convergence 2024. Mister Crimson, Fuudo, and ChrisCCH are other players to watch out for in Capcom Cup 11 Group E.

Groups G and H
Xiao Hai transitioned to SF6 from his main series, The King of Fighter XV, quite successfully. Winning theStreet Fighter 6 Esports World Cup 2024is not a joke! Nephew from the U.S. has good chances in Capcom Cup 11 Group G, but NuckleDu who wonCEOtaku 2024also can shine brightly.

As it was expected from a KOF player, Xiao Hai demonstrated a great mastery with a few characters. He switched between them more than anyone else in the Group stage of Capcom Cup 11. Juicyjoe is #1, and he advances to the top 16 winners side.
In Group H, AngryBird finished first, with only one loss: to Shuto on Day 1. The Japanese player Shuto has the same matches score as AngryBird, but he is behind with the games difference. JUNINHO-RAS was the game leader during the first two days of the SF6 Capcom Cup 11, but he lost two final matches of the Group stage.

After three days of the Group Stage matches, the top 16 players advance to the final brackets. We will be adding information on the matchups and the results throughout the SF6 Capcom Cup 11, so stay tuned.

The top 16 brackets recap: Capcom Cup 11
NoahTheProdigy won the very first match of the Capcom Cup 11 top 16 Playoffs. The opponent, Takamura, started somewhat better, but after some adaptation, Luke of NoahTheProdigy destroyed Ken of Takamura.
Kakeru demonstrated just amazing spacing skills on JP. He kept Ken of Blaz at a proper distance to shoot dark energy at him. Blaz tried to fight with Akuma in the last game, and it still did not work: due to a great reaction and matchup awareness by Kakeru.
A mirror Ed match between Fuudo and Leshar was so back-and-forth! Both players used the long normals of the character to create openings, and the fight was rather cautious from them. The match reached the final game, and then Leshar did not leave any chance for his opponent.
Juicyjoe vs AngryBird was another JP vs Ken match. However AngryBird tried to resist that dark energy, Juicyjoe defeated his mighty opponent and advanced to the Capcom Cup 11 top 8 via the winners side.
On the losers side Round 1, NL, Tokido, Xian, and Shuto eliminated their opponents from the Capcom Cup 11: Phenom, broski, MenaRD, and Xiao Hai.
Round 2 treated Street Fighter fans to some super close matches. AngryBird took Akuma instead of Ken for his match vs NL — he preferred a mirror fight instead of an unfavorable matchup. That worked! Tokido won an intense battle against his fellow Japanese player, Fuudo. Takamura was on the set point twice, but Shuto still won this match to continue fighting at Capcom Cup 11.
There still was a clear win in this round: Blaz confidently destroyed Xian.
Leshar destroyed Juicyjoe despite being strongly behind in a few rounds. He managed to find crucial openings and land deadly damage.
The SF6 esports Capcom Cup 11 top 8 recap
After losing two games against Kakeru in the winners final, NoahTheProdigy switched from Luke to Cammy. That helped for one round only, and Kakeru with his JP advanced to the Capcom Cup 11 winners final.
The first match in the losers top 8 was a mirror match between AngryBird vs Tokido. In this spectacular battle, AngryBird was better at punishing and finding openings. While playing a Japanese character, Ryu, Blaz from Chile defeated the Japanese player Shuto. He did it only in the final game, final round.
At some point, it looked like Juicyjoe was super close to a reverse sweep. It did not happen, as AngryBird had his plans to proceed further through the Capcom Cup 11 brackets. With a clean 3:0, Blaz eliminated NoahTheProdigy from this Street Fighter 6 esports tournament.
Kakeru was an absolutely unstoppable projectile beast in the Capcom Cup 11 winners final. With a 3:0, he sent Leshar to the losers.
Blaz is certainly a fresh sensation at Capcom Cup 11. The guy is 15 years old, and he destroyed AngryBird on his way to the losers final. And then, Blaz did the same to Leshar — to face Kakeru in the grand final.
In the grand final, Blaz still was amazing, but Kakeru sent the guy to the losers brackets previously, and he did not let Blaz reset the brackets.
Kakeru with his amazing projectile magic is the Capcom Cup 11 champion! He automatically qualifies for the Street Fighter 6 Capcom Cup 12.

A team consists of four players. Three of them participate in a set. Teams earn points for their players winning within a set. During the SFL World Championship 2024, matches continue till a team earns 70 points.

In the group stage of the Street Fighter League World Championship 2024, three qualified teams face each other: three sets in total. The top 2 teams advance to the grand final.
Grand final
It’s the final set of the SFL World Championship 2024. The top 2 teams from the group stage have four matches to earn 70 points and win the title.

Since the release, the Street Fighter 6 roster has got quite a few DLC characters.
We are still in the middle of Street Fighter 6 Season 2.Mai Shiranuijoined the game on Feb. 5. The brand-new character, Elena should be in the SF6 roster around Spring 2025.
It is rather unlikely we get any announcements about Street Fighter 6 Season 3 during the Capcom Cup 11 — maybe only some vague hints. However, the developers should treat the community to some information on Elena.
Street Fighter 6 greets Mai: Fighting Pass to show your Fatal Fury
The new SF6 DLC character comes from a parallel universe. Say Hello to Mai — it’s a new Fighting Pass season, and the items are awesome!
As for the next competitive season, the offline events of Capcom Pro Tour 2025 have been already revealed. The new SF6 esports season starts at Evo Japan 2025. Then, we have tournaments at a few recurring fighting games events.
Some more details on the Street Fighter 6 CPT 2025 may be revealed during Capcom Cup 11.
The fighting games community has other big finals happening in March 2025. The conclusion of the Arc World Tour 2024 is from March 21 to March 23. The DBFZ World Tour 2025 has the Finals event from March 15 to March 16. Street Fighter 6 has a relatively smaller tournament at Texas Showdown 2025 from March 28 to March 30.
