The Set 9 Runeterra Reforged Championship is set to take place on November 3-5. The winner will be crowned the Set 9 TFT world champion and earn $150,000.
The Runeterra Reforged Championship, Set 9’s TFT worlds, commences on November 3 - 5, at 6 a.m. PT. Here’s all the information on changes to regional seeds, a slight adjustment to the format, and the prize pool if you need a refresher.
Runeterra Reforged Championship regional qualification
Above is the seed distribution for each region at Set 9’s TFT worlds. Riot Games removed the Eastern and Western Last Chance Qualifiers and redistributed those two participant slots. North American (NA) representative rereplay won the previous global championship. This secured an extra fifth slot for NA. China now has six slots instead of five from the previous championship iteration.
Format
The Runeterra Reforged Championship will take place across three days, with all the competitors guaranteed to play on the first two days. This is a continuation of the previous championship format. Players receive 8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 points for first through eighth place respectively. Competitors will play on patch 13.21.
